+Top 5 songs on my music player
1. Call Me Call Me by Steve Conte
2. Lithium by Evanescence
3. Voyage to Avalon by Kenji Kawai
4. The Host of Seraphim by Dead Can Dance (look it up on youtube and listen, the music's surreal) ^^
5. Knights of Cydonia by Muse

I've noticed many groups here on MT have been quiet lately. I'm sure its because of vacations and whatnot. When everyone gets home or back to school, I'm sure MT will be lively again. ^^ For us Oldsters... we've got jobs, families, (family reunions for me), and other things that I'm sure we've been attending to. I'm sure that is probably what's been going on recently for our group in particular.
...my theory anyways... ^_^'

Um... um... random poll for participation! (^-^)v

2. Eien no Setsuna by ON/OFF
3. Closer by Ne-yo
4. Paradise by TQ
5. Gekidou by UVERworld

Hrm...don't tell me that all of us "Oldsters" actually died?

Activity we are sorely lacking right now. Just an observation. As of now I can't really do anything about it. ^_^;; Hehe.

I wish I had some fun summer plans, but work is the number one thing on the menu. And now that I live in a house, I have to mow the lawn and trim bushes and stuff. AND this dog in my neighborhood who loves everyone but her owners keeps coming to visit and gave my cats fleas, which now I have to spend money to deal with. Wish I could go to Disney World! My boyfriend can't walk right now, so that would be unfair, but I still want to go. Sigh.

I guess my summer plans would involve not pulling my hair out running after my two kids^_^'! Also have tons of housework and stuff to go through since I was too busy with school to do anything...

Fish...it can be good depending on how its cooked... My husband always jokes about octopus stew, telling our daughter who is a bottomless pit that's for dinner X-P

Fish soup? mmmm... Fish head soup isn't too bad either... I mean, there's still meat on the head, but you have to deal with many more bones that it's almost not worth it.

As for summer plans... yea, lots of mine involves work. That's what sucks about being in that fun spot between college graduate and an actual career. I actually did just come back from a mini vacation to Disneyland/a friend's graduation and I also have plans to go to Lake Tahoe for the 4th of July. Also planning on catching up on my jdramas. <3

Quote by sailorchironI don't think I've ever had fish soup, but I find myself not wanting to in the first place. X-P Yuck.

Nastier yet is fish-head soup. I kid you not, I saw it at a restaurant called Captain Wicks (not sure if I spelled "wicks" right).

Summer plans... a job? ^_^' I really need one. I'm so broke. But hopefully I can get one that lasts past the summer.

Quote by fireflywishesSoooo... anyone got any fun summer plans?

Work. Work. And more work. ^_^' But there are some shiny spots on my summer calendar. Some of my college friends are driving down to visit over the 4th of July weekend. My dad is planning a visit sometime during the summer as well and we'll go visit an airplane museum nearby.

I've also have a container garden started on my patio. So I'll eventually have some tomatoes and cucumbers. Mmm. Tasty. :) In the meantime I get to nuture them to the point of becoming edible. lol. That's about it for me.

Soooo... anyone got any fun summer plans?

Quote by kashikosaWhen I was a kid I loved scrambled eggs. Now, the smell is totally revolting. I get sick even thinking about that.
The other thing I remember being addicted to that I cannot stand nowadays would be carrots. I once went overboard with carrots and my skin changed colour now I really have to be made to eat any carrots -_-

Like sailorchiron I always have something I always hated and will hate forever: it's *drumroll* fish soup. The smell, the look, the taste - I HATE IT! And always will!

Hmm... When I was a kid I LOVED peanut butter and bologna sandwiches. The THOUGHT is revolting. Somethings I still hate, though. I've never been willing to eat canned peas. And never will. End of story.

Plain cheese... I used to eat string cheese, those little circle cheeses with the wax coating, and plain slices of American cheese like there was no tomorrow when I was younger.

Another thing is flavored gum (in like... fruity flavors. Mint, etc is exception). I used to chew that stuff a lot when I was younger, but now even just the smell makes me nauseous.

Lasagna... ricotta cheese and I don't get along. I get pretty sick when I eat the stuff, but when I was a kid I could eat a ton of it and was fine. I have not a clue why I get sick now, especially since I'm a cheese-a-holic. >_> I loved creamed peas as a kid and I still do... that and macaroni & cheese are my two favorite comfort foods. ^^

Okay, the board looks kind of dead.

So I'll pose a question: What, if any, kind of food did you love as a kid, but now hate? Why?

Apparently, as my parents have told me, I really liked liver as a kid. Now I can't stand the stuff. A change must have happened to my tastebuds - supposedly they do change as we grow up - and that's all I can say about that. Besides...Euw...liver. Blehgh. :P

I'd love to go back to Europe. Sigh.

Lol, that's one of the biggest qualities of Poland (finally) joining the Schengen group in the UE XD. Absolutely NO passport control, no borders, nothing XD XD XD (now I can go to all my fav concerts in Germany - only thing - this makes me almost permanently broke -_-) And I still want to go to the US...

I've heard here in the US it takes a long time to get your visa too. I wonder why that is. I know we have "higher security" nowadays, but you'd think they'd be happy to let you leave the country and stay. Either that, or they don't want anyone to leave for an extended period of time. We now even have to get a passport to go to Mexico and Canada. We used to not have to do that. Up until last year someone could drive over there on a Friday and come back Monday and it'd be a spontaneous weekend adventure. ~_~

By the way, hello everyone. ^^ *waves*

Hey, yothsothgoth, I think you'll go to Europe someday XD (Me, I would like to visit the US -_-, but can't get a visa - freaking queues are too long)

Lol, of course you haven't XD

Goodness! Everyone's either going somewhere wonderful or been somewhere wonderful. I've never been out of the country, but I'd love to go to Europe someday.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a honeymoon destination... preferably something within a reasonable budget? ^_^'

By the way, hello everyone. ^^ *waves*

...aw... I scared everyone away.

Switzerland was nice, just after going there I went to Germany to a concert (Berlin - a rather filthy city from my experience, but I'm sure I'll go back...)

Quote by sailorchiron Swizterland is VERY big plans! I haven't been there. Germany, Poland and Austria, but not Swizterland.

You've been to Poland?! WHY would you come here? I mean umm... I see nothing interesting here (it might be the fact I live here though XD)

Oh yes, Switzerland is big! I hope that you have a good time! :D One of these days I would love to go and travel around Europe...

LOL a "Pinky and the Brain" reference! Swizterland is VERY big plans! I haven't been there. Germany, Poland and Austria, but not Swizterland.

I should have plans for St. Pat's but I think given Finland's reputation, I can just go into town and there are bound to be festivities :p
